my boy grab  is teaching an after school program called cool kids..he will be teaching dance and art to young kids a few times a week..we decided to bring life to the studio by painting some of the walls..here is the first one..

thanks to john migoyo and the teachers at the miami childrens art museum charter school for inviting the junkyard studios team to come out and talk to their fourth graders..we had a great time teaching the kids a little bit about the history of graffiti art..after the small session..se let the kids try some spray can art of their own on a canvas..which we later finished by turning it into a letter g made out of the kids art..we left the canvas with them so the kids can see their artwork everyday..we had a great time with them and are looking forward to more opportunities like this..

a few months ago i got an invite to be a part of an upcoming show for this years art basel called ART OF BASKETBALL MIAMI..its a show sponsored by the nba where selected artists from all over the world will paint basketball related art on basketballs and backboards..im really exited about this show and cant wait to see what the other artists are doing..i now unveil mine.."I LOVE MY CITY" by junk roxxx..a dedication piece to the miami heat..FROM DADE COUNTY !!!

ive been trying to stay busy and paint a lot thes days..i recently added on to my series of celeb portraits..it felt good to get back to painting on canvas..i still have plenty more to do. but for now..heres drake..i wish there wasnt such a glare in the pic..takes away from the tones in the face..
