i was fortunate enough to be invited to showcase at one of the biggest breakdance competitions in the world..it will be held in orlando this year and many bboys from all over the world will be competing for alot of money..one of the days i along with other talented graffiti artists from my crew and a few other crews will be judging their graffiti competition..and the next day we will be showcasing our skills for the crowd..if you are in the orlando area make sure you come out

how many of you remember this one

well..the long bday week long festivities are over..last night i celebrated with a few close friends and had dinner at flannigans....i wanna give everyone a very special thank you for all the love i recieved this year..i really appreciate all of you and i wish i could thank each and every one of you individualy for all the txt messages..emails..comments ect..this past year has been great for me.ive been showered with blessings..now out with the old and on to the next one..time to surpass expectations..and go thru next years obstacles..much love and blessings to you all

sunday thoughts

last night was a really interesting night..i attended the catalyst 8 yr anniversary jam..my brother rekal and i collaborated and painted a catalyst piece for the jam..it came out nice but i still have to get pics of it.i must say the highlight of the night was joels engagement..congratulations brother..i hope u have a bunch of new adventures on this new road youve decided to take..while joel was speaking, he brought up an interesting subject..family and friends..he spoke about how many people have came and gone throughout the years and how many people hes became close to and considers family..with that being said..it got me thinking..and i started looking around..and saw so many faces..some of which i knew..some of which i had just met..some of which i had tattooed..and i realized..wow..how thankful i am for everyone ive encountered in my life..every one served a purpose in my life..whether it was good or bad..one things for sure..it was all part of something called experience..from my first friends in elementary that are still around,to the band nerd days, to those that let me practice on them when i first started tattooing,to the readers and fans that appreciate me and my art and have supported me till this day..thank you..you dont go over looked..i dont really have a very close family...so for the most part..my family consists of my closest friends..the ones that have been there for me thru thick and thin..and i appreciate every last one of them like brothers and sisters..for all of you reading this..appreciate the people that have been in your life..let no one drive you as low as to hate..and appreciate everyone for making you who you are today through the experiences they have brought to you..and for all of you that i havent really talked to..or for those of you that i am "too busy for"..just know that everyone stays on my mind..and i dont forget you..clients,crew,friends,family...thank you.

i recently did this pheonix bird on a new client of mine..this was her first tattoo..pardon teh glare on the pix but the tattoo wasnt 100 percent healed on the second sitting so it still looks a bit shiny..she took this great for it being her first tattoo.

let us take today to remember what happened almost 10 years ago..the terrorist attacks of september 11th was something that in some way affected us all..i remember being in high school when it happened..it almost felt as if time had stopped..for once..the teaching stopped..the wildness stopped..and the classroom was total silence..and all u heard was the broadcaster on the tv..everyone in class was lookin as if they were watching a movie..in shock..terror..and mostly..fear..let us take a few minuites today to pray for the well being of the families that went through this tragic event..and to remember all the brave people that we lost during this..as well as the innocent victims of the attacks..my heart goes out to you all.

this weekend we have lost one of miamis best tattoo artist..jose carrera the owner of ocho placas tattoo..i never knew him personally but i was definitely familiar with his work..your art will live on forever..this is definitely sad..my condolences go out to his family and his crew..
