some old school shit..

so i took a walk down the tracks the other day..just to see what type of activity was goin on there..there was alot of cool stuff and then i found an ooollld junk (jq) throwup from about 2002-03..i couldnt believe that was still there..it had been there so long the paint was fading and u couldnt even see the handstyles next to it anymore..i see it has new stuff around it..but no one went over it..thanks for the respect..6 years strong..still riding...check it out

new babies

i am happy to say that we have new additions to our fdc 2dx family..in sebring florida..our good friend duz just had a beautiful baby girl named anelise...and in brooklyn..our homie dek just had a beautiful baby girl as well by the name of chloe..to celebrate the new babys in the family..my bro and i decided to paint their names at a bboy jam today..i took on chloe and he took on anelise..i wasnt able to get finished pics of the anelise piece but ill post em as soon as i get em..

guys..you have been blessed with two wonderful little girls..im sure words cant describe how u guys must feel..take care of yourselves..and i hope u guys like the pieces..im sure they will appreciate u guys saving the pics when they get older..i cant wait to meet them..

The fdc crew is now carrying ironlak paint..alot of the paint has been flying but we still have a decent amount..for any graffiti writer that wants some...hit me up by email or myspace and ill sell you some..4 dollars a can..hit me up ppl.

back on set ...

my crew and i recently did a commission job for telemundo..it was very cool to work on a tv studio..all we pretty much did was go out there and have fun..haha..so they had us on set for a new novela and pretty much we had to walk around the set, which is a ny style neighborhood, and paint the hell out of it..they wanted it to look as gutter as possible..so if thats what they want..its what well do..it was really weird to not do something really nice and colorfull..instead we had to make the walls look grimey..it was weird..but it was alot of fun..some of the pics are dark because i ran out of sunlight..but ill make sure to get good fliks

in graffitti news...

u know..i love where im from..i love miami..but if theres one thing i dislike about this city..its the battle against graffiti..dont get me wrong..i understand that graffiti isnt the best thing..and realistically graffiti writers destroy everything..but it just seems like a never ending battle against the buff out here..nothing ever stays up..thats kinda what got me to stop painting the highways..i would go risk my ass out there and the city would erase it the next day before i could even get a decent picture..it sucks..and now.theyre even fighting to keep legal graffiti out of the streets as well..

i was painting a mural these past 2 weeks with a few homies of mines..this wall is legal..we got permission from the business owner to paint it..once the wall is a good 80 percent complete..a city worker comes by and give the owner of the place a citation because he has graffiti on his wall..even tho it was clearly a complete mural with background and characters..i guess just the fact that it has letters and patterns..doenst make it art anymore..so now..this wall that was oming out dope..might not last at all..if the owner doesnt paint over the mural..he will have to pay the fine..efter the hard work..time invested..money invested..and creativity..its sad that the city of miami would prefer to see a plain white wall instead of bringing some color into the community..

new piece

i hadnt painted in a while and my appointment at night canceled on me..so i decided to pay a visit to my good friend joel at catalyst....i had stuff on my mind so i decided to paint a piece tonight..painting is somewhat therapeutic..with all lifes craziness and stress..sometimes i need to just zone out in front of a wall and have fun for a little while..heres the outcome..i wish i wouldve gotten a better pic.
