it was a bad day

lately i feel i havent been too much of myself..ive been having some pretty bad days..today being one of them...seems like small parts of life are hitting me all at once..sometimes its just petty shit..but sometimes its the petty shit that gets to you the most..i woke up today feeling ok..a tad bit hungover from all the drinking last night..i had a battle to day with my boy ticoe..from the get go..my cans were acting up..i lost about 2 hours of painting time cuz i had no access to buy paint..and i had a few personal issues on my mind..to top things off..my brand new g1 phone falls out of my pocket and onto the floor..i pick it up..and it totally died..so that kinda took me over the edge..i was too stressed out to keep painting..so i left my piece half done and gave the battle to ticoe..which was doin some really nice work by the way..i was very dissapointed at myself..i left to the tmobile store for tjem to tell me they cant help me..and i had no numbers or phone so i couldnt get in touch with my client for the day..so i lost that..i had to buy a little temporary phone just to get me by while my new one comes in the mail..stress is not good,,not good at all..

on a brighter note..today was the jam for bboy cuba..we raised alot of money for his family..he is in better condition now..he is actually moving and now attempting to talk..im really happy about that..for all of you that have kept him in your prayers..thank you..

i think i need some type of release..i need to get out of miami soon..at least for a little bit..

thoughts on thanksgiving

throughout the years ive learned..loved..lost..and gained alot of knowledge...in my short 25 year old life ..ive been thru alot..like everyone else in this world..i just wanted to share my thanksgiving experience...i woke up in the morning and ate mcdonalds breakfast..breakfast of champs..or breakfast of ppl that have no one to make them breakfast when they cant cook...after that i went to buy some art supply's and then went to my moms house to pick her up..by 6pm we were having thanksgiving dinner..chicken..rice..beans..and plantains..it was good..we prayed for life..love..and health..and ate our dinner happy..just me and her..after i dropped her off i ended up goin to vagabond with some friends..and got home and my night went kinda sour due to personal reasons..i guess my point in this is..i dont have a family..i dont have many close people in my life..i honestly just have me..and my mother..i wish i could say i have more but sometimes u take things for granted and u end up losing things u shouldnt..all im saying is..be thankful for all u have..all of u who have a big family..a small family..evn those of u that gave thanks this year by urselves..be thankful..even if u lost someone this year..be thankful..cuz sometimes the only way of learning..is to lose..and to fall flat on ur face.. be thankful for experiences..and for all the people that come in and out of your life..negative or positive..they all serve a purpose..so for everyone that has been in and out of my life..this year i give a special thank you..to you..i love you... :l
you have made me who i am today..and i will never forget you.

004 connec.

after tattooing zao..the boys and i decide to go to the 004 connec store and drop a little production for the store.."monster piant" being one of the paint brands they carry, we decided to do a nice 004 with a big monster crushing the numbers..tragek and i on the back ground and much props to grabo for comin nice with the character..

finally after weeks of trying to get together..i was finally able to link up with raw meat crews "kid zao"..his tattoo is looking good..we packed in a nice amount of color this sitting..

make sure you guys come out to this show next week..should be dope..alot of good artist are being featured..me being one of them..so i wanna see everyone out there.

burner boys

i recently went back to finish up the wall with the burner boys piece that my friends and i did.we still needed all the background to do and ticoe needed to do his whole piece..the wall is finally complete and it will be featured in the art basel map this year..check it out..

tattoo updates

heres a little look at what ive been up to lately..ive been kinda crazy with work and painting..
i have alot of projects comin up in the near future..ill post more details on them soon..but for now enjoy the tattoo pics..

i finally finished the virgen de guadalupe tattoo on josh (the drummer for the band "thick as blood")..




i also finished a piece i had been working on for a little bit on a girl by the name of loren...she got a nice bright octopus on her arm..she has little arms so it only took me 3 sessions to complete..


i tatted two of my favorite people to tattoo..my boys keese and comar..theres never a dull moment around these two..and they always give me some pretty cool tattoos to do..comar got a toucan to add on to his rain forest sleeve..i hadnt done a tattoo like this in a while..i liked the outcome alot..and i also started a pheonix bird on keeses back..that piece is going to be serious when its done..

new york!!!

so last weekend we decided to take a spontaneous trip up to the nyc with the 004 connec store..there was a pretty cool graffiti jam which we were goin to help sell paint at..004 connec being our personal friend..we decide to go rep monster and clash with them..so after an already four hour delay for departure..we finally packed up the van at 1145pm on thursday and started our journey.

it was a long trip..and there was alot of sleeping goin on.

i tried to stay up..but for sure..after a nice late night stop to get food and gas..i knocked out..andt hey caught me with my own camera..i didnt even know i slept with my mouth open



we made a stop at a cool spot..hmm...i think it was in the carolinas somewhere..its called south of the border..this place was filled with giant spark plugs and gianty mexicans..it was crazy man..it even had a section that said "pet toilets"..we were goin to eat at the place..but we decided that mexican was definitely a bad choice on such a long trip..so we hung out for a big with the giant mexicans and left our marks and kept on with our trip







finally...after about 20 long hours of driving and getting lost in philly and in baltimore..we finally arrive at our hotel in Manhattan new york..



we wasted no time and poured ourselves a little something and hit the city late night to show my friend ticoe around..it was his first time being out of florida..so we hopped on the train and took him to do what u gotta do in new york..go to the village and drink 40 oz and write all over the streets.. :)




the 40s were a bit of a mission to find..but we found em




after a long walk around town..we went back to the hotel and knocked out..the next day was very hectic..we were goin to paint at the world famous 5points in queens..we woke up early and of course..got lost going there..but we made it and got to work..this is what we did






there was some really serious work in that place..here are some of my favorites that i saw








after paintin we had to rush to the graff event with no time to even shower..hungry and hella dirty..we stopped by to grab some brooklyn pizza..and we had to pass by a bodega..and once again..drink on the street..lol





the event turned out great and i was happy to have been able to meet some graffiti legends..there were some writers in that place that were old enough to be my grandparents..





outside we met this random dude on the street..but he had a cool mustache...so we decided to take a pic of him..

the next morning we woke up and left to run a few errands and headed back to good old home..





now im back..and believe me it feels great to be back..its time to get back to work..it was wayyy too cold up there..i dunno how you new yorkers do it every year..
